Compost is introduced into the hopper, where a variable-speed auger moves it through the extraction chamber. Adjustable controls determine the compost flow rate, allowing for exact regulation of microbial density and sediment load in the final extract. The hopper’s adjustable water agitation system prevents bridging by breaking static friction and maintaining a steady material flow.
Inside the extraction chamber, strategically positioned water jets rinse the compost under pressure, releasing microorganisms into solution. A Booster Pump ensures sufficient water pressure for effective extraction, while a cylindrical sieve filters solids from the liquid. The sieve assembly is easily interchangeable, letting operators switch mesh sizes to achieve the desired level of filtration.
